# Frame and other little things.

Where the box used to be on the frame, the frame is not bad. Although there are places that we need to address.

With chisel, wire brush and sanding disk we attack the rust.

After we cleaned the frame at least where the box mounts, we've put rust converter on the frame and after cleaning, its time for painting.

Primer first, black next.

That's looking waaaay better.

The door sil has plastic forms to keep the carpet down as well a step to get in and out of the truck.

The driver side was broken... A new one couldn't be ordered anymore...

So a diamond plate was bought at Canadian Tire and after a little cutting and bending a little cover was made for both sides to keep it even.

In the mean time I thought it would be a good idea to change the cabin rubbers for polyurethane ones.

But the only ones we could find weren't possible to fit, plus the bolt was 3/4'' and the hole is for 1/2''.

So original ones it is...

Earlier when changing the wheel/tires, I noticed that the cover for the brake slack adjuster were broken. It took some effort to finally find those covers and when time was there and temperature above 0(zero) I could change them.
