More cabin works,

More cabin works,

Now that the cabin is empty, we can get started with sound deadening as there is hardly anything done from the factory.

Everything had to be rolled after to make sure it would adhere and form to all the stamped forms from the cabin. We put a double layer on it as it was advised with this product.

The shifter got 2 covers, one(bottom) upside down, and the top one straight up. In between I put as much insulation as I could, so sound from under the cabin would not get through the single cover like it is originally.

Under the hood we also put a sound deadening product, special for the fire-wall.

The dashboard is fitted and repaired where needed, so all the switches and knobs are working properly again. We have to take it out again though, as we'd like to put a nicer cover on it. But that's for later.

See you next blog.
